Māori Wardens Funding 2014/2015

Applications for funding for Wardens groups for the 12 months (1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015) has closed and TPK Maori Wardens Project is currently processing applications.  There is no provision for late applications for this funding.

The total annual  funding available for Māori Wardens projects is $1.089 comprising $1m for general costs and $89k for the Youth at Risk project.

TPK Māori Wardens Project do not publicly notify which Wardens groups receive funding however District Māori Councils may request details of Wardens groups receiving funding within their district.

The general functions of the New Zealand Māori Council are set out in the Māori Community Development Act 1962. This Act conveys the Council’s purpose and gives us the framework in which we operate.
