Rules Reduction Taskforce are calling for submissions on property related rules

The Rules Reduction Taskforce are calling for submissions from Māori land owners on how property related rules and regulations can be improved. The taskforce are specifically interested in your views on property ownership with regards to Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, the Local Government Act 2002, and the Resource Management Act 1991. Submissions close 1 June 2015. The general functions of the New Zealand Māori Council are set out in the Māori Community Development Act 1962. This Act conveys the Council’s purpose and gives us the framework in which we operate.
